WE PLAN, BUT NATURE PREVAILS.
We assisted a foreign couple who chose Yucatán to seal their love: a beautiful celebration with controlled logistics and experience for around 400 guests from all over the world, staying in various hotels across the state’s major cities. We carefully planned their arrival within a reasonable time window to ensure they enjoyed the experience. But a sudden and intense storm approached the hacienda area and, within minutes, destroyed part of the decoration. What do we do? Should we make dozens of friends and family of all ages wait for hours inside transport vehicles? That would be uncomfortable and unpleasant.
As soon as the flash storm passed, we managed to reinstall the decoration in record time. Depending on the area of the state where guests were traveling from, we organized small tourist visits to help them pass the time. We relied on our deep knowledge of the destination, quick response, and our network of partners, which allowed us to reduce friction and help everyone enjoy themselves amid the chaos. An extraordinary adventure for all. And the wedding? Delayed, yes—but beautiful and a complete success.

We can almost know when we’ll arrive in this world, but very few know when they’ll leave. And those who do, in the midst of this unusual and complex circumstance, have the opportunity to choose what they’ll do. This was the case with John, a client diagnosed with a terminal illness who wanted to see all of Yucatán in just a few days and requested our services to make it happen. Time, cost, distance—it didn’t matter. “I want to see it all.” And so we did.
We were honored to share our heritage with him, though in this case, the unforgettable experience was also ours. Thank you, John, for this special opportunity to serve you. You’ve gone ahead on this journey—we’ll meet again when it’s our turn.
THE CLONE CLIENT
They have the same name, look alike, stayed at the same hotel, and both were scheduled for a tour—but only one was our client. Following protocol, our team went to the hotel to meet the client and believed they had found him, even charging the tour fee via wireless credit card terminal.
So what happened? Our sales contact at the hotel reported seeing our unit leave without the client. But we did have the client. Yet the contact insisted otherwise, and our support team insisted we did.
This mix-up ended with everyone surprised—even the two tourists—who decided to look at the situation with smiles and curiosity. In the end, both became our clients that day.
